MONOCHROMATIC DESIGN

My monochromatic look was this green look on a face chart. I wanted to create this on a real face so I did it on my own.

I started off by using the Illamasqua satin primer. I then used the illamasqua skin base and the kryolan supracolour in white to make my face pale. I also used these to white out my eyebrows.

I then used a real techniques eyeshadow brush and a grass green shade from the kryolan eyeshadow palette on my cheeks to create a green contour look.

I used the dark green supra colour on my lips. I used an angled brush to create these lines across my lip which I then blended in to create a thin layer on my lip.

I used the turquoise supra colour mixed in with the green on top of the white base on my eyebrows and two of the green shades from the kryolan palette on my eyelids. I used a pale green for the base and used it all over the top of my eye and under my brow which created a longer lid look. I then used a darker shade in the crease to make the lid more obvious.

I then used the black shade from the kryolan supra colour palette as an eyeliner. Although it looked good, the black ran a lot and took a very long time to dry so next time I will be sure not to use it as an eyeliner again.

To finish off the look I used a black mascara lightly on my lashes and used the illamasqua white powder to keep everything in place.

I was happy with my final look but I feel like it could have been better if I did it on someone else. This is something I will do in the future.
