CREATING EXAMPLE OF FINAL LOOK FOR PEER EXCHANGE

MY DESIGN

To create this look I would start of by priming the face with the Illamasqua satin primer. I would then use the Illamasqua white skin base all over the face to give a layer of white. I would then use the Kryolan Supra-colour palette (white) on a clean mascara wand and brush it into the eyebrows, brushing backward to get the best results, followed by using the gold from the Illamasqua metals palette on top. Before starting anything else, I would use the Illamasqua translucent powder all over the face to create a protective layer. I would then use the gold from the supracolour palette to create a line along the jaw line, cheek bones and forehead to stand in as a contour. I would smudge the contour inwards towards the centre of the face. I would then highlight the face using the Mac Soft and Gentle highlighter, I would apply this on the top of the cheekbones just underneath the eye and above the eyebrow and down the centre of the nose.

To start the eyes. I would use the colour 'Golden night' from the flawless revolution palette. I would apply this all over the eyelid, right up to the eyebrow and pulling it down the sides of the nose. I would then follow this by using the gold from the Illamasqua liquid metals palette and creating a cat eye flick but along the crease instead of the lash line. I would finish off the eyes by applying some dazzle dust by Barry M in the colour 27 all over the ball of the eyelid. Finally to finish of the look i would focus on the lips. I would start by covering them in white supra colour. I would then create a heart shape in gold using the illamasqua metals palette.

I think my design is quite simple but does include a lot of steps and products. I wanted my design to look like an Elizabethan look and wanted to include some of the techniques we learnt in class. For example; the white base, the eyebrows and lash techniques and the colour scheme. I hope that my partner finds this an easy design to do as I didn't want to make it too complicated and unlike what we've learnt in lesson.
